Police brutality has been witnessed in Kolkata's National Medical College. Visuals surfaced showing the patient's family members being beaten by cops. This has sparked massive outrage.

According to reports, a patient, identified as Shahnaaz Begum, was given an injection. Following this, she suffered swelling in her hand. When Shanaz's daughter asked the nurse about why such a thing happened, the nurse reportedly misbehaved. This led to the clash and the police were informed about the same.

On arrival, cops witnessed the chaos. However, it is alleged that without asserting the matter and listening to both sides, the cops started thrashing the family members of Shahnaz. Even the patient was beaten.

The incident took place on Sunday and even the civic volunteers were seen beating them. On Monday, the family members lodged an official complaint to the hospital authorities.
